Hate Wal-Mart but a Garth Brooks Fan? Tough Luck Kiddys

It seems that Garth Brooks has greater issues with his old record company EMI than he does with a certain blue box chain.

With a guy who can own the master records (thank you very much Ray Charles), you can take you recording to just about any old record company who is willing to shell out the money. Only this time the Garthiser is NOT doing that. Instead he is going to lease his recordings to Wal-Mart, what seems like a first in the history. Granted you might have had certain recording projects, or complations sold at only one chain. This time however you have a very popular recording artist, who set the standard in Country Music in the 1990's who feels that only the Wal-Mart customer should be able to buy his music. No big deal, Wal-Mart does very well, hands down in that department...and expect Country Radio to keep playing Garth's best known hits on top of that.

Too bad for Darth Fargo and the Sheeple that follow him. Get his old copies while you still can

Is it great to retire at a young age people???
