The Peacock (NBC) lays out its plans

My Name is Earl and The Office both have been renewed for the 2006-07 season. Both will get 22 episodes. That is if both shows are able to build NBC up on Thursday nights. Both shows did not lose any ratings numbers as of being moved from Tuesdays and Thursdays. Just one favor NBC; Please move Earl and Office aganist Survivor and AWAY FROM CSI DAMIT!!!! Survivor is the weak link in CBS's Thursday night lineup. However ABC might keep Dancing With the Stars on Thursday as well.

After The Olympics on NBC their will be some shakeup's. For starters Mondays the lineup will be "Deal or No Deal," The Apprentice," and "Medium." Surface will end its first season run (and maybe the only one) before the Winter Games. I can tell you now the choice is clear Jack Bauer (FOX's 24) over The Donald.

Law & Order will be placed into competition with ABC's Lost, CBS's Criminal Minds, and The Ensemble Number and Results show of American Idol on FOX. May the best survive, cause this is going to be smash mouth.

Las Vegas moves to Friday nights in hopes of cutting into CBS's lineup, along with a new show called Convection. NBC did well on Friday nights in the past.

Longtime NBC stables Will & Grace and The West Wing will bow out in May. Wing won 24 emmys and W&G got 14 of them.

First new show for NBC this fall; "The Black Donnellys;" which is a Crime Serial. Can they ride the Crime Drama wave with so many Crime Dramas that go the self contained route?
