Pat Robertson calls for for Hugh Chavez to be Assassinated

Yesterday CBN founder and one time owner of the Family Channel (now owned by Disney) Pat Robertson has called for American operatives to assassinate the leader of Venezuelan; President Hugh Chavez.

The reasoning behind Robertson's statement is that if we did make Chavez take the eternal dirt nap, then we may have prevented Venezuelan from becoming a launching pad of communist infiltration and Muslim extremism.

Granted killing Chavez here and now would truly indeed save us a lot of money and according to Robertson; "We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

Even if its cheap, that is not the way that America responds to our enemies and nor should we, unless they strike at us first and/or considered to be a threat to our well being. Also when Saddam Hussein was found, he was not shot on sight, but rather captured and put on trial. Now if we were in battle and Saddam was part of it, he could have been killed in the line of fire.

Pat Robertson is DEAD WRONG and our government needs to back away from him as much as possible. Right now we will and should look at other ways at dealing with Chavez. Since Robertson is a private person, he more less can say something along those lines. Hey who knows someone said to him/herself that Hugo needs to be killed. In fact they might have said some very mean and nasty things about commies and...well I think I had you at "Hugo needs to be killed."

Make no mistake; Hugo Chavez is a communist dictator, and I see him as another Fidel Castro. Had Jimmy Carter not involve himself in the affairs of Venezuelan this man would have been out of power for good.

The left sadly has taken Robertson's comments and ran with it. Turn coat lefty David Brock of the lefty media watchdog group Media Matters has called for ABC Family to yank Robertson's 700 Club program off the air. One problem Brock; ABC Family is under contract to carry Robertson's program, and least we forget that ABC Family used to be owned by Robertson. Before Robertson parted ways with his network, he made sure that his beloved 700 Club would still be on the cable channel he created. Also the media will remind us of his run for President back in 1988 and the mastermind behind the Christian Coalition of America

Bush will denounce or at least blow off Robertson comments as he should.

Hey Casto still plays God in Cuba and all we did is impose an embargo, but we have not tried to take out the SOB, and we never will unless he makes the wrong move.
